Built in a garage. Hosted in a closet. Priced at zero.
RiderOS started as a Honda CBR650R mod wishlist for one person — me — that became MotoModder, then grew into a full ownership suite because researching parts, tracking service, and keeping specs straight across 20 forums is exhausting.
Most of the "Buy" links currently point straight to the manufacturer or to RevZilla, Bike-Bandit, or the brand store. If this ever earns affiliate revenue, it'll come from those clicks — at no extra cost to you. Nothing currently runs through an affiliate program.
There is no company behind this. There are no investors. There is no advertising business. There is no data being collected to sell. The site is static HTML rendered by Astro and served by Caddy on a home server.
No paid tiers. No subscriptions. No "pro" version. But if you want to help cover hosting or just say thanks, here's how:
Yes. The site is static HTML. The data is mine to share. There's no business to monetize — yet. If I never figure out a sensible paid tier, the free version just stays the free version.
The whole suite — MotoModder (mods), MotoMaintain (service tracking), MotoSpec (reference cards), MotoPit (checklists), MotoLedger (cost of ownership), Compare (side-by-side specs), and the shared garage. There is no paid tier; the free version is the whole thing.
Because there's no backend. Everything you do lives in your browser's localStorage. Adding accounts would mean adding a server, a database, password storage — none of which exist or are planned. The site stays simple and you keep your privacy.
All build data stays in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device. There is no backend, no account, no server-side store. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Three options: drop a tip in the Buy Me a Coffee jar if you're feeling generous, tell a rider friend (biggest help, costs nothing), or click the "Buy" links on product cards — if an affiliate program ever runs through here, those clicks help cover hosting.
Yes — see the About page. All seven tools are live now; next up is more bikes and better fitment data.
These features are in beta: results can be rough and things may change. Everything here runs on this device. The small Light model downloads once, then works offline; Apple Intelligence is built into macOS on supported Macs. Your garage never leaves your computer.
Your garage, mod picks and logs stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
One file with everything, your bike photos included. Use it to move to another computer or keep a copy somewhere safe.
RiderOS keeps a copy of your garage each day for the last week, plus one before any restore or Clear all data. Restoring one keeps a copy of how things are now first.
Something not working? Diagnostics gathers what a bug report needs: versions, settings and recent errors.
Erases your garage, picks and logs from this device. Export a backup first if you might want them back.
RiderOS is a free sport bike ownership suite — plan mods, track maintenance, and keep your garage dialed. Everything here is informational only: always verify parts fitment and service intervals against your owner's manual and the seller. Modify and maintain your bike at your own risk.
Your data stays in your own browser. We don't use accounts, ads, or tracking.
