Mac

Apple Silicon or Intel · macOS 13 or later

  1. Open the .dmg and drag RiderOS into Applications.
  2. The first time, macOS blocks it: open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
  3. Updates install from inside the app after that.
Or install with one line in Terminal (no warning):

Windows

Windows 10 or 11 · 64-bit

  1. Run the installer. No admin rights needed.
  2. If you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway. The installer isn't code-signed yet.
  3. Updates install from inside the app after that.

Android

Android 8 or later
⬇ Download the app (.apk)
  1. Open this page on your phone and tap Download.
  2. Open the file. When Android asks, allow your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
  3. No Play Store yet. Or skip the download: open the menu ⋮ in Chrome and tap Install app (or Add to Home screen).

iPhone & iPad

Safari on iOS 16 or later
Open RiderOS →
  1. Open this site in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
  3. RiderOS opens from your Home Screen like any app and works offline. A full App Store app comes later.

Everything works here too, on any computer. Your garage is saved in this browser.

Your garage lives on each device. To move it, use Settings → Data → Backup file on one device and Restore on the other. Syncing between devices is planned.

Is it safe? Every desktop build is signed with the RiderOS update key and checked before an update installs. Checksums and virus scans are on the release page.
